In the last decades of the 20th century the term "Identity" became ever more important. Whilst society is subject to an increasingly rapid change, the image of the buildings around us is changing comparatively slowly. Thus, architecture is one of the few constants in the life of a human being and as such in the optimum position to nurture a sense of identity.
